Mimaki UV High Image Quality Technology: 5 Key Elements Supporting Mimaki's High Image Quality

UV-LED printing eliminates drying time, enabling rapid delivery.
UV ink cures and adheres to the substrate under ultraviolet light. This allows for immediate post-printing processing, such as lamination and cutting.
2.5D Printing (Emboss print)
Mimaki's first roll-to-roll product supporting "emboss print" functionality on flatbed printers. Irregular textures are created by coating multiple layers of UV ink. This makes it possible to simulate the textures of oil paintings and wood grain.
Watermark Printing
Watermark printing reveals an outline image when backlit. When illuminated from behind, such as in sunlight or backlighting, it can create an outline. This feature can be used to create eye-catching and unique designs.
Gloss and Matte Printing
Transparent inks add more value to the application. "Gloss" enhances the sense of luxury with its sheen. "Matte" presents a luxurious matte effect. It can add texture to the surface, thereby enhancing the design.
