Description
The UJF-3042MkII EX e is an upgraded version of the UJF-3042MkII e. Its high productivity, superior machine performance, and excellent print quality are thanks to an upgraded printhead configuration, increasing from three to four printheads.
UJF-3042MkII EX supports A3 size, 153 mm height, and 8-color printing.
The four-printheads configuration allows for the addition of white, clear, and primer in addition to the base colors (CMYK), and can hold up to eight ink bottles.
Processes that previously required manual primer application and surface treatment can now be completed with a single printer.

Supports MFD2 (Mimaki Fine Diffusion 2) technology for enhanced image quality. MFD2 controls ink droplet position, reduces graininess, and suppresses noise and color differences, resulting in refined printing results.
Mimaki Expand Color Enhances Color Performance
Our genuine RIP software includes the "Mimaki Expand Color" input profile, which, compared to traditional input profiles, delivers more vibrant pure colors and brighter skin tones, providing more attractive high-contrast color printing results; brighter highlights and darker shadows.
Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4 (MAPS4) minimizes stripes and uneven color printing
Typically, the paper margins are straight lines. Therefore, even a slight misalignment between the margins can lead to stripes or uneven color printing. MAPS4 reduces stripes and uneven color printing by blurring the margins, similar to gradient printing.
The NCU automatically detects and cleans clogged nozzles
The NCU monitors ink droplets using sensors and automatically detects clogged nozzles. Once a clogged nozzle is detected, the system automatically cleans it, reducing printing waste. A nozzle check is performed on every transmitted file.
The NRS (Nose Recovery System) is used to maintain productivity
If a clogged nozzle is not cleared after cleaning via the NCU (Nose Cleaning Unit), the NRS selects a spare nozzle and restarts printing. This is a significant innovation because previously, if nozzle cleaning failed, a technician had to repair the printhead, and the print job would stop until the printhead was repaired. The NRS* allows the printer to use a working nozzle in place of the faulty one, ensuring uninterrupted printing until a technician arrives.
Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT) minimizes downtime
MCT is applied to the ink tank and ink channels. White ink is circulated regularly to prevent pigment buildup that could lead to printhead malfunction.
